Mathematics at Valence

Primary P Levels and EYFS

The Primary P Levels and EYFS programme of study at Valence covers eight main aspects of mathematics shown below.

Primary P Levels and EYFS programme of study gives the students the chance to explore fundamental maths skills in multisensory approach.  In combination with Pupil Asset (an assessment tool), it ensures the right progression for all students across curriculum levels and enables us to provide a personalised programme of study where appropriate.  At Valence we ensure that students have the opportunity to access a variety of learning styles to ensure their personal success in mathematics. To access the curriculum students will have a range of activities from engaging books, computer programs and exciting practical activities.

KS3

To access the curriculum students will have a range of activities from engaging books, computer programs and exciting practical activities.

KS4 and KS5

In KS4 and KS5 the maths department offers a wide range of accredited course to meet the student’s individual needs for their future. All courses are listed below.
