Mainstream Core Standards Guidance for Parents and Carers. This document explains what schools must do to support children and young people with SEND, so that they are included in all aspects of school life (or as included as they wish to be), make progress and are happy in school. If your child has SEND (or you think they may have), or you have concerns or questions about the provision in place for your child, you should contact the school's SENCO.
SEND Information Hub (Local Offer). The Local Offer giving children and young people with special educational needs or disabilities and their families information about support services and activities that are available in Kent.
IASK support families of children and young people (0 – 25 years) in Kent with special educational needs or disabilities. IASK seek to empower children/young people and their parents to make informed choices about their children's education, other outcomes and communicate confidently. Their advice and support is confidential and impartial. They are not on anybody's side.
